A 9-Book Bilingual Children’s Series

The Adventures of Gato Tito is a bilingual (Spanish–English) collection of nine children’s books created to support immigrant children and their families as they adapt to life in the United States.

The series follows Gato Tito, an immigrant cat who helps young readers explore important lessons about language, culture, and civic life. Written in rhymes and illustrated with warmth and humor, the books combine cultural relevance with practical guidance to help children feel included, resilient, and hopeful.

Mission

About the Author

Eduardo Montalvo is a writer and creator of children’s stories. As an immigrant and father, he understands the challenges that families face when adapting to a new country. Through The Adventures of Gato Tito, he shares a playful yet meaningful way to help children feel supported, valued, and inspired in their journey.
